Who should attend?
For working adults who have completed 45 college credits, with at least 30 credits being from a regionally accredited college. Is there an age requirement?
Students should be in their early twenties with some work experience to begin the program.
How much does a degree completion program cost?
Is there financial aid?
Yes. Most students qualify for federal loans, and some are eligible for grants. A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to determine eligibility.
What if previous credit is lacking?
Experiences through the military, job training, or other educational pursuits outside college could be used as equivalent college credits. The types and extent of prior learning and work experiences are weighed and given careful consideration for college credit. CLEP exams for credit are also available in many subject areas.

The program is offered to small groups of 8-15 students who learn together for the entire 18 months. The students form a support system in which advanced learning can take place. The EXCEL program is specifically designed to enhance the educational experience in this collaborative environment. New students are merged into existing groups at coordinated starting times. Established in 1884, Central Christian College has been located in McPherson since 1914. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. The college offers traditional classes as well as the degree completion program.
