HLC & Accreditation

Central Christian College of Kansas is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

As an accredited institution, Central Christian College participates in periodic evaluation by the Commission. This is most often done through peer-evaluation, whereby administrators, faculty, and staff of like institutions visit campus for a few days an review the operations of the College. Prior to the visit the College completes a self-study through which it candidly assesses its own operations. The assessment process focuses on a series of criteria stipulated by the Commission, called the Criteria for Accreditation. You can read more about the Criteria below.

The last Commission visit happened in 2004. The next one is scheduled for the fall of 2013. You can watch our progress at Self-Study.
