Central Christian College maintains two year and career entry programs in Art and Drama to provide for the needs of our students. Students who complete the two year Associate in Arts degree will find an easy transition into any of the four year Bachelor of Science Degress available at Central.
Art
The Art curriculum, which offers about 20 hours of coursework, is
designed for three types of students: a) those who choose the
Bachelor of Science degree and the “art track” in a Liberal Studies
major with Humanities as one
of the concentrations; b) students who are exploring art possibilities,
or
just enjoy art as a hobby; and c) those who are art majors and planning
to
transfer after two years at Central (with an Associates degree) to
complete a major in art at another four year school. The majority
of art students are not “art majors” but simply want to learn about
drawing and painting.
