Bachelor of Science in Business - Small Business Major/Aviation
A unique degree for the field of aeronautics is the Bachelor of Science
in Business Degree - Small Business /Aviation. Let's face
it, there is more to being a pilot or mechanic than just flying and
fixing.
Someone has to "keep the books" and make sure the "paperwork" is
okay,
and there is a good chance that might be you. This degree allows
the
career aviator to become familiar with the skill of aviation and the
business
of aviation.
How Does it Work?
Well, there are three components to this degree. Let's look at
each one separately.
Component 1: General Education Courses
First, are the General Education Courses. Just because you're
going into aviation does not mean you get to skip out of all the basic
stuff. You will still need to take classes like English and
Philosophy, along with everyone else. The General Education
Courses you will need to take are:
- 6 hrs English Composition I & II
- 3 hrs Principles of Speech
- 3 hrs Philosophy
- 2 hrs Fitness and Wellness
- 1 hr P.E. Activity or Varsity Sport
- 3 hrs Math
- 4 hrs Science
- 3 hrs Personal Finance or Marriage & Family
- 2 hrs Computer Literacy
- 3 hrs History
- 3 hrs Psychology
- 6 hrs Bible Survey Course I & II
- 3 hrs Old Testament Course
- 3 hrs New Testament Course
- 4 hrs Humanities
Component 2: Small Business Courses
Being a Business Degree, it would only make sense that you will be
taking a few business courses. These courses will help give you a
competitive edge in the aviation industry. The courses include:

reasonably be able to accomplish during your time at Central Christian
College. Of course, with a little ambition and hard work, the
sky's the limit (pun intended).
