Central Christian College maintains a number of two-year and career entry programs in the Aviation department to provide for the needs of our students.

Aviation-General
This two-year Associate in General Studies degree program is designed for a student who wants to fly either commercially (airline or corporate), or as a private pilot for pleasure and personal business.  Supporting courses in math and physics are also available.  An Associate in Arts degree program is available for those who desire to transfer to a four-year college.

Aviation-Business
A student interested in combining an aviation program with business should consider this curriculum.  An Associate in General Studies degree in aviation-business would enable the student to begin a career in airport management, airport base operations, aircraft sales, or aviation instruction.  Those who desire a four-year degree in this area should see the Business brochure.

Aviation-Missions Support
This curriculum is designed for the student who desires to earn a four-year Bachelor of Science in Ministry degree with an emphasis in aviation for missions work.  The following aviation courses must be completed in addition to the ministry major.  This program can lead to a commercial license with A & P (Airframe and Powerplant) rating.

 **The Air Frame and Powerplant apprentice program will take place on a directed study basis with each student after completion of at least one semester at Central Christian College.  A student can gain the necessary practical experience (30 months) through actual on-the-job training.  The theoretical knowledge required can be learned through a combination of directed study and instruction from a qualified aviation maintenance technician.  When the apprenticeship is completed, the individual will receive written authorization from the FAA to take the necessary tests for the Air Frame and Powerplant license.  Upon successful completion of the A & P tests, an individual is licensed to work on U.S. certified aircraft.

In addition to the aviation courses listed above, the following courses are electives (not required) to complete the Aviation Missions Support concentration.
