Bachelor of Science in Ministry
General Ministry Major

General Ministry Major
If you have ministry as a calling and sense that God is directing you into a broad area of ministry in the body of Christ, then this major might be the best choice.  For example, if your calling is more along the lines of Christian counseling (pre-counseling), industrial missions, missions aviation, contemporary Christian music, Christian music performance, Christian camping, Christian education, etc., this major will provide an opportunity to further develop specific skills. Some of the classes you might be taking include:

General Education Courses
Besides your Ministry related courses, you will also need to take a few General Education Courses.  These courses are included as a part of your degree to help enhance your educational experience and give you that extra edge in the "real world".

Missionary Emphasis

Students interested in pursuing a ministry in missions have a real opportunity to enlarge their preparation for this field.  They are encouraged to pursue a basic program for ministry and to enhance it with practical courses in the following areas: language; cross cultural communication, Interterm (January) missions trip, photography, first aid, aviation, and nutrition.  Also, a practicum may be arranged in Mexico, in an inner-city ministry, or at a Navajo mission.
