Most Commonly Asked Questions
What if my arrival or departure times/dates
cannot coincide with those listed on your invitation?
Please call the Admissions Office to set up a personalized schedule of
arrival/departure.
Should my parent(s) come with me?
Yes, if possible. We do understand that many parents can't get time off
work and students might have to come without them. What college you
attend will be one of the most important decisions you'll ever make,
and we're sure your parents will want to be part of the process.
Where will I stay?
With host students. We attempt to room each guest student with a
current Central Christian College student. Please bring a sleeping bag
or bed roll and pillow if this is convenient in your travel
arrangements. Parents will need to make arrangements at a local
motel. Click here for a list.
Are meals included?
Yes.. both for you and your family.
Will I need to bring money? None is required, but some parents and students like to shop. Others like to go out with people they know or have just met. You will probably want to bring two hundred dollars with you for your Admissions Deposit, if possible. Many students like to reserve their spot at Central Christian College while on campus. Keep in mind that this deposit is not required to attend Preview Days and is refundable before June 1 if you should not attend Central Christian College.
How should I dress? Regular school clothes are appropriate for Friday and Saturday. You may want to have more casual clothes for the Friday night activity.
If I cannot come on one of the Preview Days,
when can I visit campus? If you
are unable to come during a scheduled Preview Days, you can still call
the Admissions Office to set up an individualized campus visit
(1-800-835-0078).
Where do I go Friday morning?
Plan to arrive about 8:30 a.m. Look for the building with the blue and
gold streamers (Broadhurst Student Center.) "Check-in" at the Alumni
Dining Room, which is to your right as soon as you enter the glass
doors.
Where do I go Saturday morning?
Breakfast will be provided in the cafeteria (Broadhurst Student Center)
at 8:30 a.m. If you are participating in the Saturday activities only,
you are welcome to come for breakfast. Otherwise, you will
need to be at the Reimer Business Center by 8:45 a.m. for testing
instructions.
