Preview days Scholarship Competitions
There will be an opening assembly and three periods of testing after Saturday breakfast. Following the testing, there is an awards luncheon with departure from campus no later than 1:30 p.m.
Special activities are planned for PARENTS who are here (including a campus tour, an informal "coffee/visiting" time, a financial aid seminar, and a question/answer session.)

We generally know the results of the competition within two to four weeks following the examination date. You will be notified then. All participants who are not Presidential or Dean's Scholarship recipients are still eligible to receive our other academic scholarships ranging from $9,000-$2,500 (based on a combination of GPA and ACT/SAT score). There will be one President’s Scholarship ($10,000) and one Dean’s Scholarship ($8,000) awarded each testing weekend. Scholarships are renewable each year by maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
Testing will consist of three periods with breaks between. You will be allowed 55 minutes for the General Knowledge test of 100 questions. These will be from the areas of English, art, geography, history (U.S. and world), law, business/economics/accounting, math (you are encouraged to bring a calculator with you), music, physical education, psychology/sociology, science, and religion/Bible. The Writing Assessment test (also 55 minutes) involves reading a short article (provided) and responding to a question. The Spiritual Assessment section gives you an opportunity to describe your church background and involvement, and to talk about your faith.

All competitors must currently be a High School Senior. Presidential and Dean's Scholarship competitors must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Have an Admissions Application and High School Transcript on file at Central Christian College before the exam date. Participate on campus on a designated exam competition day.
