Central Christian College of Kansas students receive 2017 Teacher of Promise awards

McPherson, KS -- Central Christian College of Kansas’ (CCCK) Teacher Education department is pleased to announce that 2017 Teacher of Promise awards were presented to two CCCK students, Megan Gayer and Emiliano Gross, by the Kansas Commissioner of Education, Dr. Randy Watson. Mr. Gross completed his student teaching experience at Windom Elementary and Little River Jr./Sr. High School and will receive his Bachelors of Science degree in PreK-12 Physical Education in January 2017.  Mrs. Gayer will begin her student teaching experience at Lincoln Elementary in USD 418 this spring and will receive her Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education in May 2017. The award presentation was held during the 2017 Kansas Teacher of the Year State Awards Banquet at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Wichita, KS on Saturday, November 19, 2016.
