Nationally Ranked Women's Soccer Tied for First

McPherson, Kansas Central Christian College of Kansas made a bold move by entering the grueling Sooner Athletic Conference last season. As with most big changes in athletics, there were grumblings about whether Central was ready for such an ambitious leap. The Central Women’s Soccer program is silencing those doubts.

The Lady Tigers are currently 11-4 on the season and have already demolished formidable SAC foes Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Southwestern Christian University, Wayland Baptist University, and Mid-America Christian University. These big wins have not gone unnoticed: the Lady Tigers are currently ranked 8th in the NCCAA and are tied for 1st in the brutal Sooner Athletic Conference.

These ferocious Tigers have an opportunity to further prove themselves with their three remaining regular-season conference games – all of which are against teams who are either ranked nationally or are receiving votes. Come out and support Central Soccer as they on John Brown University at home on October 20. The men take the field at 1:00 PM and the women follow right after at 3:00 PM. Go Tigers!
