Women's Basketball Eligible for Postseason Play!

By winning their ninth game of the season last week against Union College, the Lady Tigers have assured themselves a spot in the NCCAA post-season tournament. Regional Tournament information will be released later this month. Congratulations to the Lady Tigers, and to Coach Bryant and his staff.

MCAC and NCCAA honor Central's Stevenson


Sophomore guard Inekka Stevenson of Central Christian College has been named MCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 10. In addition to player of the week honors in the MCAC, Stevnson was also named NCCAA Division I national player of the week.

A native of Freeport, Texas, Stevenson scored 35 points to go along with 13 rebounds and seven steals in a 79-72 loss at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College last week. She was 19-of-22 from the free-throw line (86.4 percent) in the loss.
