Bridgett Nesvarba Signs National Letter-of-Intent with CCC

Bridgett Nesvarba
, a 5’10” midfielder from Topeka West High School in Topeka, Kansas, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the women’s soccer team at Central Christian College of Kansas.  Nesvarba, will be a freshman at CCC during the 2008-09 season.

In addition to playing soccer, Bridgett has competed in cheerleading at Topeka West High school and has also signed a National Letter-of-Intent to cheer for CCC.

"Bridgett is a natural left footed midfielder and forward who knows the game of soccer,” Head Coach Mike Reimer said.  “She is eager to be a part of our team and help us achieve a higher level of success next year.  I am excited about Bridgett joining our team and look forward to her future contributions."

Bridgett is the daughter of Cindy and Lonnie Nesvarba of Topeka, KS and intends to major in Psychology at CCC.



Kirstie South Signs National Letter-of-Intent with CCC

Kirstie South, a 5’6” midfielder from McKinney Boyd High School in McKinney, Texas, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the women’s soccer team at Central Christian College of Kansas.

While at McKinney Boyd High School, Kirstie made All-District Honorable Mention for soccer and also competed in track and cheerleading.  The McKinney Boyd Lady Broncos were the 2008 4A State Champions.  South also played club soccer for the North Texas Strikers 89, FC Dallas White 90, and the Dallas Texans White 90.

“Kirstie is a great athlete, has solid skills, and knows the game of soccer.  She has a very nice first touch and is confident with the ball,” Head Coach Mike Reimer said.  “I am excited about the experience that Kirstie will bring to our team.  She is full of potential and I expect her to make and immediate impact."

Kirstie is the daughter of Michelle and David South of McKinney, TX and intends to major in Pre-Physical Therapy at CCC.



Whitney Chappell Signs National Letter-of-Intent with CCC

Whitney Chappell, a 5’6” attacking midfielder from Southwest High School in Fort Worth, Texas, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the women’s soccer team at Central Christian College of Kansas.

While at Southwest High School, Whitney has been a 2008 All-State player, a 1st Team All-District  player, a 2007 All-District 6-4A MVP, and received a 2nd team selection to the 2007 Fort Worth Star-Telegram Super Team.  Chappell, the Southwest team captain, has also scored 28 goals this 2008 season and currently holds a school record of 96 goals scored in her career.   The Southwest Lady Raiders have been District 6-4A Champions for the past 3 years and in 2008 is 16-2-2 and looking for a sucessful post season.   Chappell also played her club soccer with the International Futbol Club.

“Whitney is a game changing attacking midfielder.  She is an outstanding 1v1 dribbler and attacks with speed,” Head Coach Mike Reimer said.  “Whitney is also a good distributor and will be a key player in our attacking scheme this next year.  I am looking forward to having Whitney on our team."

Whitney is the daughter of Cheryl Chappell of Fort Worth, TX and is undecided in her major.

Austyn Chynoweth Signs National Letter-of-Intent with CCC

Austyn Chynoweth, a 5’6” midfield/forward from Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the women’s soccer team at Central Christian College of Kansas.

While at Vallivue High School, Austyn
was a 3 year varsity player and a 2 year starter.  Austyn played as a supporting attacker marking numerous assists over her career.

“Austyn is a solid attacker and will bring more experience to our team,” Head Coach Mike Reimer said.  “Austyn knows the game and communicates well on the field.  She has good speed and strikes the ball well with both feet.  I am looking forward to having Austyn on our team and making an impact  on the outside midfield."

Austyn is the daughter of Denise Chynoweth of Caldwell, ID and is undecided in her major but plans to be involved in the Drama department.


Shella Jones Signs National Letter-of-Intent with CCC

Shella Jones, a 5’6” midfield/forward from Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Texas, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the women’s soccer team at Central Christian College of Kansas.

While at Mansfield High School, Shella played both midfield and forward.  The Mansfield Lady Tigers were the 2008 District 4-5A Champions.  Jones started playing soccer when she was 5 and played on various teams including The Legend 89 and The Heat 89 club teams.

“Shella is a hard working, skillful, and smart athlete.  She can play anwhere on the field and has both the quickness and endurance for the college game,” Head Coach Mike Reimer said.  “I am excited about the knowledge and skill that Shella will bring to our team.  She can play any position and I expect her to make and immediate impact."

Shella is the daughter of Dyann and Allen Jones of Mansfield, TX and her entier family is very involved as soccer referees in the Dallas area.
