Kirstie
South, a 5’6” midfielder from McKinney Boyd High School in McKinney,
Texas, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the women’s
soccer team at Central Christian College of Kansas.
While at McKinney Boyd High School, Kirstie made All-District Honorable
Mention for soccer and also competed in track and cheerleading.
The McKinney Boyd Lady Broncos were the 2008 4A State Champions.
South also played club soccer for the North Texas
Strikers 89, FC Dallas White 90, and the Dallas Texans White 90.
“Kirstie is a great athlete, has
solid skills, and knows the game of soccer. She has a very nice
first touch and is confident with the ball,” Head Coach Mike Reimer
said. “I am excited about the experience that Kirstie will bring
to our team. She is full of potential and I expect her to make
and immediate impact."
Kirstie is the daughter
of Michelle and David South of McKinney, TX and intends to major in
Pre-Physical Therapy at CCC.
