In
their fourth
year under Coach Brian Wissehr, the Lady Tiger Softball team continues
to expand their program. Over the past few years the Lady Tigers have
grown into a competitive program. and are looking forward to the
beginning of the 2008 season. This will be the second year in Central's
history, the Lady Tiger Softball team will initiate a Junior Varsity
Team. Now, besides the 40+ games on the Varsity schedule, the Junior
Varsity team will expand the playing potential of the roster.
At the conclusion of
the 2008 season, the Lady Tigers will be hosting a
"Little Tiger's" softball clinic for children in the community. The
Lady Tigers are serious about their commitment to become Champions of
Character. Many times the team will participate in different community
outreach activities. It is their hope to demonstrate their commitment
to Christ by being His light both on and off the field. In an effort to
do this, the Lady Tigers spend time each week in Bible Study and mutual
accountability. |
