Heim Named New Head Coach to CCC Softball Program

Central Christian College Athletic Director, Bob Marsh is pleased to announce the hiring of Jeremy Heim of McPherson as the new Head Women’s Softball Coach!  Heim replaces Brian Wissehr who recently resigned to take a youth pastor’s position at Cornerstone Church in Anchorage, Alaska.
Marsh didn’t have to go far to find Heim, who has spent the last couple of years coaching at Central Christian College as an assistant coach in women’s basketball and men’s baseball!  “Jeremy wants to be a head coach and he has gained valuable experience serving as an assistant coach to both Dave Bryant in the women’s basketball program and to me in our baseball program.  He has made himself almost irreplaceable in those programs and worked hard!  He’s a great teacher, recruiter and brings a lot of enthusiasm to his new role.  We believe he is ready!  This is something he has wanted to do and I believe he will be very successful!” stated Marsh.
Heim is a graduate of Canton-Galva High School where he was a four-year starter and pitched a no hitter against Wichita Independent High School.  Prior to joining the Tigers baseball staff, Jeremy coached at Smokey Valley High School and has been the McPherson Senior American Legion Coach for the last four summers.
Jeremy and his wife, Heather, have a five year old daughter, Carley.
