The George E. Kline Society honors former Wessington Springs College
President,
George E. Kline. Dr. Kline served as president for twelve years, from
1945
to 1957. Later, in 1968, with the closing of WSC, student records were
merged with those at Central Christian College, in McPherson, KS.
This Society was established:
to help perpetuate the high-quality, Christian higher education
at
Central
Christian College;
to broaden long-term support so outstanding young men and women
may
continue
to have the opportunity to receive a Christian college education at
Central;
to encourage greater understanding of the college's goals and
purposes
by communicating effectively through publications and college events;
and to recognize appropriately those friends who make a financial
provision
in their estate plan for Central Christian College.
