Institutional Scholarships
Central Christian College policy allows the allocation of only one
college-administered
academic scholarship to a student at any one time. When a student is
eligible for
more than one scholarship, final allocation is based upon the
eligibility
that gives the greatest advantage to the student. Final selections are
made
by
the college's scholarship committee.
You must meet the following qualifications
for all scholarships:
- Must have an Application for
Admission and Scholarship on file in our admissions office
- Must have a high school transcript (or GED) on file in our
admissions office
- Must demonstrate qualities which reflect the philosophy of
Central Chrisitan College
- Transfer students must have all college transcripts on file
in our admissions office
(Transfer
students are eligible for all scholarships except for the Presidential
and Deans)
All qualifying applicants will receive
amounts per year as follows:
(GPA ranges are based on a 4.0 weighted scale)

Qualification Details
National
Merit Scholarship:
Criteria:
- Any high school senior named as a National Merit semi-finalist
- Be approved at a pre-scheduled, on-campus interview
Award Amount:
- Full tuition, required fees, room, and board each year of
eligibility (based
on 32 hours per year). If student is eligible for a
Pell grant, it would be applied to tuition.
Renewal Standard:
- Maintain 3.5 cumulative GPA
- Reviewed annually
Trustees
Scholarship (high ACT/SAT):
Criteria:
- Obtain 30 ACT score or 1980 SAT score
- Be approved at a pre-scheduled, on-campus interview
- Minimum high school cumulative GPA of 3.5
Award Amount:
- Sixty percent tuition (not including fees) each year of
eligibility (based
on 32 hours per year)
Renewal Standards:
- Maintain 3.5 cumulative GPA
- Reviewed annually
Valedictorian
Scholarship:
Criteria:
- Graduate number one in senior class
- Obtain 27 ACT score or 1820 SAT score
- Be approved at a pre-scheduled, on-campus interview
- Minimum high school cumulative GPA of 3.5
Award Amount:
- One-half tuition (not including fees) each year of eligibility (based
on 32 hours per year)
Renewal Standards:
- Maintain 3.2 cumulative GPA
- Reviewed annually

Christian
Leadership Scholarship:
Qualifications
for the Christian Leadership Scholarship are as follows:
- Christian high school senior or a home schooled senior
- Demonstrate leadership qualities which reflect the philosophy of
Central
Christian College
- 19 composite ACT score minimum or 1350 combined SAT score minimum
- 3.25 cumulative GPA minimum on a 4.0 scale
- Must have an application for admission on file
- Must have two letters of recommendation on file
The Christian Leadership Scholarship is a $4,250
scholarship and the number of scholarships awarded is unlimited. All
recipients
receive $4,250 per year renewable each year for a total value of
$17,000.
Seniors not qualifying for Christian Leadership Scholarships may still
qualify for Academic Scholarships. Presidential, Dean's and
Christian
Leadership recipients cannot receive additional academic scholarships.
General
Academic Scholarships: These scholarships are based on a
student's cumulative grade point average from high school and may also
require a certain ACT scores. These are yearly amounts that
are automaticly renewed each year.

Named Scholarships: The College has a
number
of named scholarships which are endowed or annually funded by friends
of
the college for the benefit of qualified students. These scholarships
fund all of the above academic scholarships.
