2008 Commencement Weekend Schedule

May 22-24, 2008




Graduates will be honored throughout the weekend and we would love to have you join us for any or all events!
All events are open to graduates, their families and the entire CCC family.
Thursday, May 22

Noon-3:00 p.m.

 Graduates pick up caps and gowns (Academic Office Conference Room)
4:30 p.m.
 Graduation practice (McPherson Free Methodist Church Sanctuary)
Required for all graduates!


Friday, May 23
5:30 - 6:15 p.m.
 Evening meal @ BSC, Upper Dining Room
(Guest price $6/adult, $3 per child ages 4-11, free for ages 0-3; pay at the door)
6:30 p.m. Processional lines up in caps & gowns (Science Hall)
7:00 p.m. Baccalaureate & Honors Night (Greer Auditorium, Wesley Black Fine Arts Center)
     Graduate Recognition & Student Awards
     Faculty/Staff Service Awards
     Baccalaureate Speaker & Program

Immediately Following - Reception (Wesley Black Fine Arts Center Lobby)


Saturday, May 24
10:30 a.m. Senior Class/Family Brunch & Ivy Cutting Ceremony (Broadhurst Student Center, Upper Dining Room)

12:00-2:00 p.m. Visit the nostalgic Tiger Den (Broadhurst Student Center, lower level)
     & purchase CCC shirts, caps, books, and gifts.
1:45 p.m. Processional lines up in caps & gowns (Science Hall)
2:00 p.m. Graduate Group Photos (Science Hall)
      Photo orders will be taken following Commencement in the Free Methodist Church foyer.
2:30 p.m. Commencement (McPherson Free Methodist Church Sanctuary)
