guidance center - Academic accommodations

Central Christian College has established a guidance center to assist students in the areas of academic counseling, career counseling, college success and job/career opportunities.

These services are open to all students. They are geared toward involving students in planning their own lives, careers, and service to their chosen communities and churches.

College courses that are available in these areas are:

Intermediate Algebra (3 hrs. credit

Computer Literacy (2 hrs. credit)

English Composition (4 hrs. credit)

Counseling (3 hrs. credit)

English Essentials (2 hr. credit)

Study Techniques (2 hrs credit)

The ACT test is given at McPherson College on national test dates.

Personal counseling is available on request.

Career Assessments are available through the Guidance Center.  All Freshman students are given a career assessment during the Freshman Orientation sessions.
