FROM MCPHERSON SENTINEL STAFF REPORTS
LAWRENCE -- Central Christian College's cross country team recently competed in its first-ever MCAC meet.
All the CCC runners had their best times of the year.
Quillan Sneed earned first-team All MCAC honors by taking sixth place in 28:23, though actually he won't be listed because Central is not eligible for honors this year since it's in its first year of the MCAC.
David Peters (33:09) and Keith Bergman (36:35) also competed for the Central men.
For the Lady Tigers, Amanda Woelke ran a season-best 24:00.
Central coach Bryan Minnich said he was pleased with all of his runners'
efforts.
