CCC cagers home tonight

FROM MCPHERSON SENTINEL STAFF REPORTS

Central Christian College's basketball teams return to more comfort able surroundings tonight after being swallowed up in the echo chamber in Hays.

It figures to be more intimate gathering tonight at Pyle Sports Complex when the CCC teams host Mid-America Christian University.

Both Central teams are coming off losses to Fort Hays State, games that must have seemed like they were in a tomb as not many fans showed up in the 7,000-seat facility.

The  women's  game starts at 5:30. Central is still looking for its first win after going 0-10 in November.  The  Lady Tigers have been receiving consistent scoring from freshman Christy Pyle.

The Tiger men play at 7:30.  They enter the night 1-8, but have been in several  games.  Melvin Sanders, Tony Romero and Jeremiah Wright have given the Tigers strong play on the front line.
