Central's PBL students compete

Central Christian College PBL students recently attended the PBL Business Competition, competing in Salina against schools such as the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, Emporia State University and Friends University.

Central came away with nine first places in the state, 12 second places and five third places. Individual placings were: Gus Arismendi, first in telecommunications and second in international business; Brandon Elizarraras, second in management, third in telecommunications and second in hospitality management; Matt Ferrell, first in management, first in human resource management, and third in marketing; Sarah Jackson, first in future business executive, first in impromptu speaking and second in public speaking; Jonathan Kaufman, first in hospitality management, first in marketing, first in information management, third in finance and third in business law; David Peters, third in management and first in international business; and Danielle Sides, second in telecommunications and second in visual basic programming. The group of Beth Catron, Amanda Keller and Ryan Schave placed second in business decision making.

Central Christian College provides liberal arts and career entry programs leading to bachelor and associate degrees.
