Central graduates may submit nominations for the "Outstanding Young
Alumni Award" using the form below. Awards are
presented each year at Homecoming/Family Weekend.

Young Alumnus Award
Alumni Awards The Alumni Association of Central
Christian College chooses to give the following award(s) in order to
proclaim certain character traits, values and accomplishments which
exemplify the discovery, development and realization of individual
potential as found in Jesus Christ.
These awards are not presented to bring attention to people as much as
to the qualities Central Christian College values and the recipients
embody! Our purpose in presenting these awards is to challenge
each alumnus to greater realization of his/her potential in Christ
throughout life.
Alumni awards may be presented in absentia, however recipients will be
strongly urged to be present to receive the awards during Homecoming
and Family Weekend.
Who? Any alumnus
who graduated within the last 15 years is eligible to be
nominated. Any alumnus and/or faculty member may submit a
nomination to the Office of Alumni Relations to be considered.
Nominations will close at the April Alumni Association board meeting,
with the selection to be announced at the June Alumni Association board
meeting.
What? Recipient
selection will be made by members of the Nominating Committee in
consultation with the faculty, staff, and administration of the
College, and will be based on the following criteria:
The nominee models the ideals of Central Christian College and
possess Christ-like
character.
The nominee possesses leadership as demonstrated in
civic involvement, Christian service/church leadership and/or academic
excellence.
The nominee exhibits a self-sacrificing
lifestyle by going above and beyond the call of duty in service to
others.
When? A single
award, or as many as five awards, will be presented annually at
Homecoming & Family Weekend. A commemorative plaque will be
presented to the
recipient. Recipient(s) name(s) will also be added to a permanent
plaque on display at the Institution.
