Alumni Obituary – Ricky Dean Greene

Pratt, Kansas – Ricky Dean Greene (CC ’91) passed away peacefully at Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt, KS, on November 28, 2020, at the age of 60.

Ricky was born at the Pratt County Hospital in Pratt, KS, on February 8, 1960, the son of Franklin and Sharon (Wedel) Greene. On August 15th, 2008 he married Cheryl (Brown) Greene at McPherson, KS.

He graduated from Pratt High School and attended Central Christian College in McPherson, KS. Ricky enjoyed ministering to people in many ways.

Ricky is survived by his wife; sister Cathy Kenny of Candler, South Carolina; sisters-in-law Maxine Crosley of Pratt, KS, and Joyce Brown of Sawyer, KS; niece Sandi King; nephew Joshua McDowell; and six great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held at 10:00 am on June 12, 2021, at Open Door Ministry, 109 East Third Street, Pratt, KS.
