The Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree program is designed to introduce you to a broad view of the field of psychology, while at the same time providing you the expertise needed to excel in the discipline. You interact with many major psychology theories and gain an understanding of the role psychology plays within the broader scope of academic and professional disciplines.

  • The Bachelor of Science in Psychology program consists of 40  courses.
  • Each course is six weeks in length, and the program can be completed one course at a time.
  • The time it takes to complete the program is dependent on the number of transfer credits awarded upon enrollment.
  • Foundational Courses: 18 Credit Hours
  • Liberal Arts Courses: 24 Credit Hours
  • Major Core Courses: 42 Credit Hours
  • Elective Courses: 36 Credit Hours
  • Total Program: 120 Credit Hours

Psychological studies at CCCK are designed to emphasize the unique interplay between science and faith — not as an integrative model, but as an essential component of existence. Upon graduation, students are able to:

    • Facilitate APA guidelines for the ethical treatment of human and nonhuman research participants.
    • Adapt psychological principles and modalities in response to diverse cultures and worldviews.
    • Explain core psychological theories and their relation to human functioning.
    • Distinguish various etiologies and treatments for normative and non-normative behavior.
    • Design and execute an experiment or research initiative to answer a psychological question.
