CCCK Among Top-20 in Healthcare Administration

DoctorMcPherson, Kansas – Central Christian College of Kansas (CCCK) is pleased to announce that it has recently been included in a list of the top-20 best Associates Degrees in Healthcare Administration by Best Value Schools. In addition to being ranked #175 of 1,336 for being the Safest College Campuses in America and #413 of 1,674 for being one of the Most Conservative Colleges in America, this ranking adds to an already venerable educational reputation.

Central’s Healthcare Administration degree is built on the premise that care of people goes far beyond the physical. Therefore, the program combines an in-depth study and application of skills related to healthcare with a practical emphasis on integrating a Christian worldview. The student can expect foundational courses in healthcare administration to introduce concepts in healthcare administration, ethics, accounting, statistics, and knowledge management. Experienced instructors are prepared to assist in the journey and provide worldview perspective.

The goals of the program include: developing knowledge of healthcare systems in the United States in order to lead effectively; enhancing leadership competencies and technical proficiency in finance, marketing, human resources, information technology, strategic planning, and ethics in healthcare settings; developing effective communication competencies in business and healthcare settings as well as learning the dynamics of working in groups and teams; developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to tackle current issues in healthcare as well as applying concepts and theories to practice; and developing information literacy in healthcare disciplines.

Dr. Jacob Kaufman, CCCK’s Chief Academic Officer had this to say about the degree,

The degree of Healthcare Administration is an obvious degree for a school whose mission is to provide a ‘Christ-Centered Education for Character’.  Not only that, in light of COVID-19, what a timely degree.  For example, courses such as Patient Communication and Service Excellence and Leadership and Ethical Issues in Healthcare equip our students for service and mindful leadership.

The healthcare administration program is taught online and includes online tutors, instructional videos, group discussions, and digital guides. Learn more at
