CCCK Names Jordyn Lott as Coach for Tiger Cheer Program

Jordyn LottMcPherson, KS – Central Christian College of Kansas Athletic Director Kyle Moody, is excited to announce the hiring of Jordyn Lott as the head coach of the Tiger Cheer Program. Lott currently lives in McPherson, KS with her 2 daughters Ava – 7 and Julianna – 3. She graduated from Sterling College with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education.

Coach Lott has deep roots surrounding Cheer since her days at Cloud County Community College where she participated in volleyball and cheer for the T-Birds. While attending Sterling College she continued her intercollegiate athletic career, playing volleyball and competing in competitive cheer for the Warriors.

After graduating from Sterling College, Coach Lott continued her passion for Cheer by coaching the sport she loves. She has been coaching at various levels, which includes High School, Junior Colleges, 4-Year Colleges, and prep teams and looks forward to her new endeavor coaching for the Tigers.

When asked about her coaching style, Coach Lott responded:

“I’m a coach that is hands on and expects a lot from kids. I don’t just want them to be successful on the mats but in the classroom as well. During practices you will find me having my hands on the stunts or teaching technique. I’m always trying to stay educated on stunts and choreography to help keep the team successful.”

Kyle Moody, the Athletic Director for the Tigers had this to say on the hiring of Coach Lott:

“We are excited to bring Coach Lott on board to lead the Cheer program, she has experience with coaching and recruiting cheer at the collegiate level and that is an important piece for the future of the program. We are excited to see where she leads the program.”
