Mr. Tom SeamanMcPherson, Kansas – Excitement is brewing as we prepare for the Central Christian College of Kansas Choir Reunion as well as the Hymn Sing and Dinner on Saturday, October 2nd during Homecoming 2021. It will be a busy time as we kick off that Saturday morning with the alumni choir rehearsal from 9:30 am – 10:30 am in Greer Auditorium. Former choir director, Tom Seaman, will lead the choir in rehearsing “River in Judea” arranged by Leavitt and one or two other gospel pieces, with the current music department chair, Dr. Brett Janssen (CC ’01) accompanying.

The CCCK Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Brett Janssen, will also perform works including “How Can I Keep from Singing” by Gwyneth Walker, “Lux Aeterna” by Albrecht, and “A Psalm of Praise” by Joseph Martin. The Homecoming Celebration will conclude with the combined choirs singing the benediction, “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” before moving to a reception in the lobby of the Wesley Fine Arts Building.
