Chaney Lecture Series | Timothy A. Gabrielson

Timothy A. Gabrielson (Ph.D., Marquette University) is Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at Sterling College. His research interests include the literature of Paul and James, images of Adam and Eve in Second Temple Judaism, and the use of the scriptures of Israel in early Christianity. He has published articles in Journal for the Study of the New Testament, Catholic Biblical Quarterly, and Christian Scholar’s Review, among others, and he is currently writing Tailoring Scripture with Citation Formulae: Clues about Early Christian Views of God, Scripture, and Exegesis (Lexington Books). Tim, his wife, and son enjoy living in the wheat fields of Kansas, but he misses the mountains of Colorado, where he was born and raised.
