Graduation is happening in person Saturday, October 3, 2020
For those that can’t make it in person, we will be live streaming the event at the Central Christian College Tiger Network. We also are inviting you to submit a photo of you wearing your regalia that will be used during the ceremony. This can be done on the bottom of this page.

What will the Day Look Like?
Graduate Check-In & Cap/Gown Pick-up – 1:00pm
Doors Open for Guest Seating – 1:00pm
Commencement
Graduates Report to Line-Up – 1:25pm
Group Photo – 1:30pm
Ceremony – 2:00pm
Outdoor Reception – immediately following the ceremony
What Should I Wear?
Men – dark slacks, collared shirt (tie not required but it looks nice!)
Women – low-heeled shoes
Weather Forecast – high of 68 and partly sunny
What is Happening at Check-In?
Graduates are required to check-in at Wesley Black by 1:25pm. Please have your family drop you off and then continue to the church to be seated.
What will Seating for my Guests Look Like?
All guests for each graduate will be seated together so there is one “ticket” per graduate. Please tell your guests to pick up the ticket inside the church and give it to an usher. They will then be shown to their assigned seat.
Where Can We Park?
You and your guests will be able to park in front of Science Hall (1200 South Main Street McPherson, Kansas 67460) or at the McPherson Free Methodist Church (1010 S Maple St, McPherson, KS 67460)
How Do I Get There?
The campus is located on the very south end of Main Street in McPherson, KS. If you need more detailed directions, we recommend using Google Maps (map of McPherson: http://goo.gl/maps/HdE42).
What if I can’t come in person?
We are sad that you won’t be able to join us in person and are excited to still celebrate your major accomplishment of graduating from college. We are inviting all students who can’t make it in person to submit a photo of themselves in their regalia that can be used during the ceremony. If you do not have your regalia with you it will be mailed to you. Graduates be watching for a survey coming from the academic office that will collect the information of where it needs to be sent.

What about masks?
For the safety of all involved masks or face coverings will be required for all participants and attendees.
How many people can I bring with me?
At this point, you are able to bring the number of guests on your RSVP. We encourage you to have the rest of your family and friends celebrate with you on the live stream.
Can I walk my family around the campus when I am here?
In order to protect the safety of the current campus community access to campus will be limited. You are welcome to walk around the perimeter of campus or drive through campus but the buildings will be locked and not available for tours.
Will I be able to visit with my friends and professors?
Many of the faculty and staff are planning on attending graduation and will be available to talk with. However, social distancing will be required throughout the event.
Can I submit a pronunciation of my name?
If you are participating in the Ceremony on October 3rd we sent you an email from NameCoach asking you to send in a recording of your name pronunciation. If you did not receive an email from NameCoach, please click here to let us know.
