Men’s Tigers Basketball take on Foe Oklahoma Panhandle State

The Tiger Men’s Basketball team would be taking on conference foe Oklahoma Panhandle State University. After a close home victory, the Tigers looked to complete the season sweep of the Aggies like the women’s team did earlier this afternoon.

The 1st of the game took the Tigers as they struggled offensively against the Aggie defense, and the Aggie offense would take advantage and create a 33-26 lead going into the 2nd half. The Tigers would come out and prove that they are no easy team to contend with on the road. The Tigers would have a great offensive half, but an even better defensive half as they held the Aggies to 22 points. This defensive would create opportunities for the Tigers to get back into the game and eventually take the lead and come away with a great away victory to keep the SAC tournament hopes alive as they take this game 60-55 thanks to a 12 point swing in the 2nd half.

Tigers improve to 11-13 (4-12) and look to keep the momentum going at home against Texas Wesleyan on the 20th.
