You Never Know Where a Crisis of Faith Will Lead You

Central Christian College of Kansas’ Ministry and Theology Department invites you to join them in watching the movie Patterns of Evidence. It will take place on April 3, 3030 at Central Christian College of Kansas in the Wesley Black Fine Arts Center, Greer Auditorium. The event starts at 7:00 pm and will be followed by a question and answer period by Dr. Larry Anderson and Dr. Steven Bruns.

When asked why the department would host this public event Dr. Larry Anderson responded with, “This movie answers important questions as to the historical validity of the Exodus event and is something that will encourage people of faith while also providing some solid answers for those who are still searching.”

The following is a brief description of the film:

Most archaeologists today have concluded that there is no evidence that the Exodus of Israelite slaves from Egypt ever happened. Filmmaker Timothy Mahoney faced a crisis of faith. Was this foundational event of the Bible really just a myth?

Join Tim as he embarks on a journey around the world to search for answers. See as he comes to a startling revelation: What if evidence for the Exodus has been overlooked because experts have been looking at the wrong time in history?

Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus unlocks the mystery of this ancient saga, combining a scientific investigation with a retelling of the Exodus story to reveal an amazing pattern of evidence matching the biblical account that may challenge our understanding of history. Could this really be evidence of the Exodus? What really happened 3,500 years ago?

This film features narration by Kevin Sorbo (God’s Not Dead, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys), interviews with leading archeologists, and guest appearances by Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres.
