Central States Marketing & MFG. Named June Business of the Quarter

Central Christian College of Kansas is proud to announce that Central States Marketing & Mfg. has been recognized as its Business of the Quarter. Members of the Central Christian College Foundation office presented the award to Central State’s president and founder, Mr. Chuck Singleton. Also on hand were two of Mr. Singleton’s sons who have been and continue to be instrumental in the development of one of the nation’s top plastics producers which happens to be right here in McPherson, KS.

The foundation/advancement department of Central Christian College honors businesses in McPherson, KS who reflect business integrity within their operations but also possess values that embody the Central Christian College mission: Christ-centered education for character.

Dr. David Ferrell, Executive Director of the Foundation, presented a framed certificate of appreciation as Mr. Joe Johnston, Major Gifts Officer shared with Mr. Singleton the heart of the award. Upon receiving the honor, Mr. Singleton stated that, “On behalf of my company Central States Marketing and Manufacturing, LLC, our 50 plus employees and our family we thank you for this honor and recognition. Central Christian College of Kansas has been an important part of our family for generations. We have deep ties to this institution as many family members have attended the school over the decades. CCCK institutes Christ-Centered Education for Character and we love that!” Singleton followed up by stating that, Ken “Lugie” Luginsland (CC ’57) hung the plaque right away for us.”
