Davidson Receives Greenhorn Award

Haylee DavidsonEarlier this fall, alumnus Haylee Davidson was nominated for the Greenhorn Award for ER Emergency Nurses Week.

As a student, she was a member of the Women’s Basketball team and graduated from the CCCK Natural Science Department back in 2016. She now works as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) at Cherokee Nation W W Hastings Indian Hospital. She shared that,

I love my job and I love what I do. It feels good to be recognized by coworkers for my accomplishments. It’s nice to see that all my hard work is paying off and others see that.

The Greenhorn award is given to someone who is considered an up and coming, shows promise, and is learning their craft and practice and excels as a new ER nurse.

Congratulations to Haylee on her dedication to excellence, her patients, and her recent award. Thank you, Haylee, and all of our first responder alumni and friends of the college for all of your service and dedication in this turbulent time!
