Central Presents First Business of the Quarter Award

Central gives award to Peoples Bank & TrustMcPherson, Kansas – Central Christian College of Kansas (CCCK) is pleased to recognize Peoples Bank & Trust as its first recipient of the Business of the Quarter. In seeking to recognize local businesses and thank them for the impact they have on Central and the local community, CCCK developed the Business of the Quarter award. Central’s desire is to share its appreciation and gratitude to these businesses for their unwavering support and shared values that both business and college hold.

Dr. Dean Kroeker, Vice President of Advancement and Alumni Relations, presented a framed certificate of appreciation to President Tom Pruitt and stated,

It is an honor for Central Christian College of Kansas to recognize a local business that exemplifies the mission and vision of our college and is based on business principles reflected by the recipient’s corporate vision. The demonstration of valuing higher education and financial support qualifies this local business to receive the Business of the Quarter award.

Tom Pruitt, President and CEO of Peoples Bank and Trust was humbled to receive this honor, saying,

We are thrilled to be the first recipient of the Central Christian College Business of the Quarter award. Our focus at Peoples Bank and Trust is to impact our communities, which we achieve by working hard, having a vision, being honest, and building relationships. The next generation of students will one day be filling roles within our bank, which is why it is important to support higher education in our communities.
